Maaria Curlier has an extensive background in editing, research, website management and development, as well as conference and workshop hosting. Fluent in three languages, including french, she has worked in the mining, mineral and exploration sectors, international relations, international marine and fresh water law and governance, and coastal zone management. She recently was a key member of a team that developed a multi-year Global Environment Facility project in charge of research, editing and website management. Maaria also recently helped organize a high level Study Tour for the World Bank.
Maaria co-managed the Yukon First Nations Resource Conference with Julie, helped coordinate the BC Natural Resource Forum, and has managed the logistics for numerous workshops. She applies her keen eye for detail on every aspect of an event. She has also developed and managed the websites for conferences such as the Yukon First Nations Resource Conference as well as the BC Natural Resource Forum.
Maaria joined Indigenous Corporate Training Inc. in 2017 as our Training Coordinator.
