What is PAIR?

 

Partnership Accreditation In Indigenous Relations (PAIR) is a certification program created by the Canadian Council for Indigenous Business (CCIB). This program confirms corporate performance in Indigenous relations at the Bronze, Silver, or Gold level. Certified companies promote their level with a PAIR logo, which signals to Indigenous communities that they are good business partners; great places to work; and are committed to prosperity in Indigenous communities. PAIR is the only Corporate Social Responsibility program with an emphasis on Indigenous Relations.

Steps

  1. Register with the Canadian Council for Indigenous Business (CCIB).
  2. Contact us to discuss your organization’s needs and for an assessment by a PAIR facilitator.
  3. Start your cultural awareness training with our Indigenous Awareness or Working Effectively with Indigenous Peoples® courses.

PAIR through Indigenous Corporate Training (ICT)

  • As a CCIB-certified PAIR Cultural Awareness Trainer and Facilitator, ICT can help your organization to become PAIR-certified at each level of certification (committed, bronze, silver, and gold).
  • All ICT training courses meet or exceed PAIR requirements and are delivered by trainers who have a deep understanding of the themes, history, protocol, etiquette, and approach required to achieve PAIR and implement organizational change.
