Jane grew up in Victoria on the unceded territory of the Lkwungen (Lekwungen) peoples, and the Songhees, Esquimalt, and W̱SÁNEĆ First Nations. She holds a degree in Philosophy from the University of Concordia in Montréal, where she resided for 7 years. During her time in Montreal, Jane volunteered as a Sexual Education Workshop Facilitator with the Head & Hands project. Her time with this organization took her across the city, working with various schools, including an Inuit youth facility.

Before joining the Indigenous Corporate Training team, she was working as a UX/UI & Product designer, skills which she’s able to bring forward into her new design & admin role.
