France Carrier
Trainer/Speaker
France Carrier has been in public service for over 15 years. Most of these years were spent working on Indigenous files such as the Indian Residential Schools Resolution Canada, Office of the Federal Interlocutor for Métis and non-Status Indians, implementation of modern treaties and self-government, and clean drinking water on reserves. Now working within the Employment Equity, Diversity and Inclusion team at Shared Services Canada, she has also undertaken a micro-mission as an Indigenous Career Navigator.
A true believer that knowledge is power, she tries to help educate others and also learn more about Indigenous Peoples, cultures, and traditions herself. When not working, she’s learning the traditional ways of her ancestors, beading, making moccasins or even making her own drum!
France is bilingual and speaks both French and English.
